Course Overview
Business improvement projects are most successful when all of the people involved in a process are actively engaged in improving it. This course provides a firm understanding of the foundation tools and techniques to be used by a process team to identify and secure business gains. It provides the right level of knowledge and understanding for process experts to lead dramatic change. They will learn how to use techniques that will drive considerable benefits in lean and process improvement.
This practical course is run as a hands-on workshop and covers the role of people and teams within a business improvement environment; the understanding of basic tools of improvement such as Value Stream Mapping, problem solving, cause and effect charting etc.; the DMAIC process for defining and implementing change; and the proven Oliver Wight approach to establishing and managing projects.
